Workshop #2 / Oficina #2

🇬🇧  On the 16th September we had a creative session. We met to share ideas about how to develop our online concert.

There were ideas about making transitions between pieces of music, and reflections about how we are in different places and how we can listen to/work with the sounds of our own environments. There were also comments about the idea of didactic concerts, some questionings about the format of the traditional piano recital and some ideas to do dialogues with other arts.

There were reflections about the spoken voice, as the first sound that we hear, when we are still in our mothers’s wombs, and thoughts about how we can bring light through the vibration of music to this time of suffering in the world.

And there was a question about how we can work together, how to bring such different ideas together.

We then decided that each one of us would make a recording with duration of 1 minute, each one free to explore whatever they wanted. Then I (Késia) would put them together in a collage, which we would then watch together, and decide how to carry on.

I finished the meeting feeling such a creative energy, and really grateful for being working with such a generous, supportive, and amazing group of women!

 🇧🇷 No dia 16 de setembro nós tivemos uma sessão criativa, onde trocamos ideias sobre como desenvolver o nosso concerto online.

Houveram ideias sobre transições entre as peças musicais, e reflexões sobre como estamos em lugares diferentes e como podemos ouvir / criar com os sons dos nossos ambientes. Houveram também comentários sobre a ideia de concertos didáticos, alguns questionamentos sobre o formato tradicional do recital de piano, e algumas ideias sobre diálogos com as artes visuais.

Houveram reflexões sobre a voz falada, como o primeiro som que escutamos quando ainda estamos nas barrigas das nossas mães, e pensamentos sobre como poderíamos trazer luz através da vibração da música nesses tempos de tanto sofrimento no mundo.

E nos perguntamos sobre como podemos trabalhar juntas, como unir tantas ideias diferentes.

Nós então decidimos que cada uma de nós faria uma gravação de 1 minuto, sendo livres para exploramos o que quiséssemos. Então, eu (Késia) faria uma colagem dessas gravações, a qual assistiríamos juntas e decidiríamos como continuar.

Eu terminei a sessão sentindo uma energia criativa tão forte, e me sentindo muito sortuda de estar trabalhando com mulheres tão generosas, criativas, e parceiras inspiradoras!
